The short version

This site does not use cookies to follow you around, and nothing about you is sold or shared for ads.

It only keeps what you choose to send: your email if you join the newsletter, and your message if you write through the contact form or leave a comment.

Visitor numbers

Visits are counted with Fathom Analytics. Fathom uses no cookies and stores no personal data. It shows totals, like how many people opened a song page, not who they are.

The newsletter

If you sign up, the site keeps your email address, the fact that you agreed, and the date and time. It’s only used to tell you about new songs.

Every email has a link to unsubscribe, and you can ask for your address to be deleted at any time.

Messages and comments

The contact form keeps your name, email and message so Abdulla can reply. Comments keep your name, your email (never shown) and the comment. Comments are read before they appear on the site.

Loved songs

When you love a song, your browser keeps a random code so it remembers your heart and lets you take it back. The site stores only a scrambled form of that code, never who you are or your IP address.

Listen buttons and videos open Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube and other apps on their own sites. Nothing is shared with them until you click, and from then on their own privacy rules apply.

The server

Like every website, the server keeps short technical logs, such as IP addresses and browser types, to keep the site safe and working.

Your data, your choice

You can ask what the site holds about you, and have it corrected or deleted. Write through the contact page.
